Home or Lodge? The sixty foot long and twenty five foot high great room with massive timbers and trusses is glazed on two sides with views in both directions. At one end is oversize window next to a large fireplace and at the other end is an overhanging balcony office. Overhead is a long cupola clerestory that lets heavenly light drape the interior. The master suite is located in an adjacent cottage with a connector that creates a private courtyard. At the other end of the house can be found three separate guest bedroom suites and a media room. Informal yet memorable. Located in Truckee, CA.
