Residential Project 990906
House, village, or compound? This vacation home is a hillside cluster of several forms each on a different level, skewed to the others, and with their own outdoor space. The master cottage is at one end of the property with a private office for two. Nearby is a guest cottage with its own entrance and covered porch. These forms create a private courtyard that houses the covered spa. Go through a connector to the great room and find a monumental corner fireplace and a massive south facing window framing the nearby ski mountain. Adjacent is a dining area for twenty and a social kitchen to match. Down half a flight to the mudroom and garage or go up half a flight to the media and game room and laundry. Another half flight and one is at the two children's suites.Collaboration:
