Residential Project 991008

Perched on the rocky edge of a sage filled plateau, this home carefully garners all the site has to offer. A massive window wall frames the alpenglow on Mount Rose to the east. The window wall at the stair landing frames the ski runs on Lookout Mountain to the south. There is a private courtyard patio with a massive fireplace overlooking the 17th fairway that is sheltered from the prevailing winds. The use of exterior type materials on the interior, the massive volumes with interior windows, and the use of windows, speaks of the creative yet casual while reminding one that the natural environment is primary to the experience. Located in Truckee, CA.
