Sofia Parada, Intern Architect

Education: 6 year degree in Architecture from Universidad Católica
de Valparaíso, Chile
Past Experience: Licensed Chilean Architect, 10 years of experience
in architecture and design comprised of work within contemporary
architectural firms as well as running her own design-build company
with her husband working on many large scale multi-family housing
projects in Chile.
Area of Expertise: telling Rachel what to do all day long, renderings
and design concepts.
Most Awesome Chilean Ever!
Sofia is a wonderful spirit to be around and brings some much
needed flavor and spunk to the MWA team. She is constantly inciting
the inspiration of change and fresh design in all of her projects
and co-workers. As a published and accomplished architect in another
country, Sofia has a very clean design palate that is expressed
in her attention to all details of a project. She grew up in a
beach town and misses it frequently in the winter; she is learning
to love the snow as much as the rest of us since she learned to
snowboard. Sofia moved here 3 years ago with her husband, Cris(tián),
and two adorable little girls, Martina and Rebeca. When she isn’t
working she enjoys spending time with her loving family and Skype-ing
all her Chilean relatives.
