Designer/ Drafter
Shaelin grew up in a small town on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada where she developed a love of the outdoors. After four sunny years in San Luis Obispo and one cloudy year in Copenhagen, she received her Bachelor of Architecture with a Sustainable Environments Minor from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Upon graduating in 2019, her surfing wasn’t very good and the mountains called her back, so she returned to Truckee and MWA where she had spent the previous two summers as an intern. Shaelin can now be found skiing the snowy slopes in winter, biking the dusty trails in summer, and home-brewing kombucha all year-round.

We were referred to MWA by our builder Gerald Meng of Meng Construction. He builds a high quality custom home so we first visited MWA with high expectations. They were met! Kurt and Kristy listened to what we wanted and envisioned and designed the home of our dreams and a home that went on to win the Home OF The Year award in Tahoe Quarterly Mag. We highly recommend MWA.
