What a pleasing result! This Truckee resident's living room addition achieved a light, bright, and clean look. The addition incorporates a work area and lots of natural light. Building in the fireplace and using simple floating shelving created a fresh update. The existing living room space was dark and had built-in furniture facing a wood stove with the TV awkwardly behind the couch. Switching out the wood ceilings for white ones visually lifts up the low ceiling and changing the lights to small aperture cans modernized the look. Design is in the details!
